About Me

After years of battling the weight loss roller coaster, I found my passion in fitness. I wanted to take what I learned on my journey and share it with others.

As a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, I have been positively impacting lives of nationally and internationally ranked athletes, teams, and working with everyone from teens to seniors for over 20 years now. I love sharing my passion and igniting it into others to reach those goals and summits they did not believe they were capable of.

I took this new found passion and pushed myself to the next level, and began running ultra marathons, which is something I never imagined I was capable of. I loved what running had brought to my life especially trail running that I ventured into being a Running Coach. Leading by example I hope to show that no matter our age or place in life, you can get uncomfortable and chase those big scary goals when you put your mind to it!!

During Covid I was presented an opportunity to make my mountain dream come true….and I took it!! Moving to Banff helped me truly embrace my passion for the mountains on a daily basis as well as further my goal to connect people to this beautiful land as a guide in all seasons.

I have taken my educating indoors to outdoors where I have been certified as an Instructor for the Outdoor Council of Canada. I get to share my experience and knowledge to educate others on how to get outside safely and responsible in all seasons. I certify other leaders as hiking, winter, and overnight guides. My knowledge has also enabled me to co-author a program for the OCC, the Trail Running Leadership Certification. A program I am so proud of!!

I am also currently working on a book/program with Run Like A Girl Co Founder Courtney McQueen called Be Aware. This program is a labour of our love of educating and the outdoors to help people be more prepared on getting out on any of their adventures in any season. Stay tuned for that!!

I became a guide so I could connect people to the land, educate them on it’s history and hope to protect it for the future. I will be continuing this journey as the Bow Valley Chapter Leader for Protect Our Winters Canada.

When I am not working you can find me adventuring through hiking, running, snowshoeing, and cycling or just chilling on my balcony reading with my mountain views.

Who says we slow down as we get older!! We just find more fun things to do, and have the courage to GO FOR IT!

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, I’ll always get up after I fall. And whether I run, walk or have to crawl, I will set my goals and achieve them all”
